One thing for sure is that Chinese auto workers from geely are required to work from 8am to 9 pm for six days a week without overtime pay. And their actual pay would be around 2 usd per hour, most of them are just seasonal worker without health benifits. Think about the huge difference between us and Chinese autoworker.

Rememeber that GM sold more cars to China, even more than what they sold in the US. Same with VW, BMW, Volvo and many other european and american brand cars. Chinese companies want the same access to the market the same way these europeans and americans accessed the chinese market, where’s the fairness here???
