Wobbly Lowes Vinyl Fence
Apparently this type of fence can withstand 97mph wind in case you were worried. I'm on the fence, pun intended, about how much it moves.

For an extra $100 per post they can be reinforced with a structural aluminum brace.

I just got a vinyl fence put in by Lowes. I haven't noticed a creaking noise, but it doesn't seem as sturdy as I had hoped. It really seems like if you were to jump or lean into one of the panels, the panel would just pop out. It looks nice, but I don't think it will hold the zombies out when the apocalypse hits (just kidding...kind of).

Additionally, the Lowes salesman said that Lowes fence posts are dug 27 to 30 inches into the ground (it is written into the contract), while other installers will only put them 20 inches into the ground. He used that as a selling point. It turned out that that was a lie. I measured the depth of the holes and can confirm that the fence posts were only dug 20 inches deep.

It's a vinyl fence you need to put some inserts into your post that's the only way to make it more stiff.

I just installed this fence lol. Mix up concrete pour down post. 2 bags per post shit will not move at all

Vynal does that I’ve installed that many times and it moves like that. Vynal fence is only for looks not to withstand high winds

All fences must flex or it will break. Bridges flex you just don't know it

Its not the material, its the installation.

This moves like this because no inserts were used. Although the manufacture and Lowe’s does not require the insert it is for this very reason that I use them.

It's because youve been wobbling it since they installed it. Concrete take 30 days to cure.

i have the same fence with no problems. Does not wobble.

Old video but did the contractor set the posts in cement? Thanks

Hey, this is a common thing if you hire Lowe’s to do any type of installation or remodeling project whether it’s a kitchen install; a door, windows or a fence. Terrible worksmanship by Lowe’s third party installers and Lowe’s will not refund your money. Some of their installers don’t even dig deep enough to set the posts in cement! Some guy had his 3 week fence fall over after three weeks of installation. Lowe’s is the absolute worst. Did you get this resolved?

Stop playing with it or you are going to be complainting a lot more. You should have done it right from the begining.

If it was rigid it will snap in high winds, the design is supposed to have movement so it deflects in winds. Your installers and sales agent should of explained this to you. The use of wood inside the posts is not how the fence is supposed to be, you have a pro product looks a good install and it is supposed to flex,

Did you use concrete in the post holes? And how deep are they? I'm about to order this fence and this video is giving me second thoughts...

Im thinking about instaling a similar vinyl privacy fence from Lowes. Do you still recomend this fence and what would you have done differently if you knew what you know now?
