I think IRV will work in Yang's favor. He's done a good job of at least appearing to be a decent human being. At least going off the Dem POTUS primary, lots of people who might not think he's the best, think he's at least OK.

Also, NYC Mayor is a position with more symbolism than power. Can be consquential to be sure, but I think it was Kotch who said the main job was to listen to complaining and take the blame.

I think Yang is definitely leading, but theres so many undecided, and the parties still so split, it's hard. As a NYC resident, Im split between Yang and Garcia, but it all depends on future scandals, and, as a downside for Yang, with so much attention on him, if he slips up once, that could be the doom.
