Skating the same exact colorway rn and I gotta say I didn’t care for them at first but after breaking them in I dig em! I’ve been skating etnies on and off for years but I’ve had so many pairs I can’t keep count 😂

The only shoe I wear now, went from the Scheckler to the Joslin and didn't notice a difference. The Michelin with MOB grip is a great combination. Avoid the fiberlight though it didn't grip well at all on the deck as the pattern was completely different. I skate mostly vert and just from moving my front foot constantly it wears out on the palm of the front foot before they even looks skated. The fiberlights are great for work tho!

Etnies Maranas and Joslins are my go to! I wish they had better colors tho

Etnies is a very slept on shoe company. I think Sir Ben Degros covered this, but they are. Amazing skate shoes. I realized recently they have the 90s Rap shoe, but updated, called MC Rap. Not too thick not too slim.

Etnies are bomb John! Especially the specific ones you were skating right there, because I like the way they grip the board when I go for kick flips, also the Barge Ls Etnies are good too, I skate the Barge Ls all the time because the tire rubber is real strong + grippy and the shoe also has a really nice feel to the flick of it. They are definitely my favorite skate shoes and they fit real nice whenever I put them on. I ❤ my Etnies! 🤙🏼
