4:37 That's a good thing. Most people hear "turbulence" and they might think it's a bad thing because the most common place they hear that word is air travel. But if your goal is to mix fluids, you want AS MUCH turbulence as possible. More fluid mixing also means a more uniform temperature of the mixed fluid, which means better heat transfer off the fins (because you won't get any boundary layer sticking to the fins). Good Job, Acer.

My favorite part was the durability test where he just threw the laptop at the table every time it was picked up. Good lookin out.

It's nuts how many laptops each company has dropped, and also nuts how much content you guys have pushed out!

I love the route they went with the Helios. It actually feels like a step up from the nitro series.

That idea of having the fan run full blast in reverse to remove the dust when you turn the device on is genius.

I can feel the company representatives screaming internally every time Alex juggles or slams a laptop in this video series.

I want to say how grateful I am for Alex going around and buttering all of the trackpads at CES. Truly the hero we need.

As someone who currently uses one of last gen's swifts, I can say that they have done very well with cooling and I/O over the past couple of years!

2:55 Alex looks at the Acer rep the way my dog looks at me when he knows he shouldn't be doing it but has to do it anyway 😂😂 love it 👍
💯 cute

I love how fast today's laptops are but I hate how literally every single one of them absolutely will throttle if maxed out for a while, so you can never get the full performance out of what you're paying for.

I love lower profile Acer's laptops look vs everyone elses. I would be embarrassed to rock as much gaudy RGB as some of those other gaming laptops have that have been shown this week.

Sure, you can turn it off, but you're still paying for it, and it just seems so needless.

EDIT: Okay, just got to the 3 minute mark in the video and Alex literally just said what I was thinking. Well, good to know I'm not alone in that thought.

I love the continued shade at Dell for no headphone jack.

Have a Ryzen 5 powered Swift 3 that's treated me very well for like... year and a half now, and had a couple of their old netbooks before that, seems to be pretty solid things.

Wow! Didn't expect Acer to actually make great stuff!
Always went for Asus or Lenovo before. Now I think Acer will also be entering the competition

The Swift X 14 seems really similar to the Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X I got at Costco last month while it was on sale. Really appreciate that other manufacturers are starting to make similar devices, it's really nice to be able to play some games on my laptop without having it be some massive beast that's too annoying to be reasonably portable.

$1, 700 on the 18 isn't bad at all... I'm seriously considering it for my upgrade after a review. Which I would love to see!!!
