Wechselpräpositionen Dativ und Akkusativ | German Two-Way Prepositions

Do you know which prepositions can take accussative and dative case and are used to describe where something is located or gets placed? This video is about Two-Way prepositions and you will learn all🇩🇪 German prepositions which can be used either in dative or accusative. In German we call them "Welchselpräpositionen Dativ und Akkusativ".

Dativ and Akkusativ are the most confusing things in German I think. I takes time and effort to learn that. But once done, it helps tremendously. Thank you very much for another great video with perfect explanation :)

- In dem Video sehe ich einen Man, der einen Laptop auf den Tisch stellt. Eine Lampe ist über dem Tisch.
- In dem Bild sehe ich, dass auf seinem Tisch eine Tasse, ein Bild und einige Bücher stehen. Das Bild befindet sich zwischen den Büchern. Ein Laptop liegt vor den Büchern und Bild, während die Tasse vor dem Laptop steht.

It depends on the verb. If the verb is transictive direct, use accusative, if the verb is transitive indirect, use dative. The problems is to know which verb is transitive direct or indirect. Usually verbs that denote movement is transitive direct.
