I like to think that in an alternate universe, tech like this actually exists and the game is more interesting for it.

a tech i would like to see is reverse aerial rush, my smash 4/brawl brain actively tries to do that in melee and it aways makes me look dumb on my oown eyes. not to mention it would be a cool tech in the melee engine.

Most underrated melee YouTuber also try adding something like a Luigi down be jump cancel so it’s a better move to use as a recovery maybe not to sure and also if you use it on the ground and jump out of it then wave dash basically same thing as wave shine but a bit faster since down be is pretty fast so moving forward and wavedashing with it gives you a boost of speed think of it as spam dash from sonic adventure 1 and sonic adventure 1 dx it’s a different way to move while also giving you a boost of speed but in sonic adventure you just spindash cancel it by pressing b and then spindashing right after you cancel it and if you wanna go super fast just brews both action buttons on the GameCube controller b and x and you’ll go super fast basically ten times better than normal spam dash

This Mario tech exists in super smash flash 2 except it has to be done by timing the cape after you've run off a edge of a surface

I absolutely adore the idea of adding tech to Melee, especially giving tech to lower tier characters. As such, I have some ideas:
Ganondorf is slow and powerful, so giving him the ability to charge his fair, dair, and bair would be pretty thematic. Also consider giving him the ability to charge all of his chargeable moves indefinitely. See Scrumpy's "Chargeable Aerials" video for reference as to how this works. I also think his up tilt should bury anyone it hits (like DK's side B).
If this is even possible: change Ness's PK Flash so that, instead of exploding upon releasing the B button, it stays wherever he leaves it until he detonates it at ANY time by pressing the B button again (except while he is KO'd), AND also have it so that touching the PK Flash explosion electrocutes Ness in the exact same way that PK Thunder does. phew
Give Roy some disjointed "fire" hitboxes to his fully charged smash attacks (In Fire Emblem 6, the Binding Blade gave Roy a ranged attack). Also consider giving him the ability to wall jump. Maybe even the ability to cancel his jab or the second hit of his down smash in a manner similar to his down tilt? /shrug
Change Pichu's electric attacks so that they have a chance to deal more damage/hitstun.
Bowser should probably just get super armor during some (most...?) of his attacks, and invincibility during attacks like his down smash where he is hidden inside his shell.

Sorry for the wall of text. I just really want to see some changes to Melee's mid/low tiers.

Hammer Cancelling is something Kirby mains do to extend combos in some situations in vanilla, so I’m happy to see it being buffed as a combo extender. Good stuff

I remember when the Glitzer Popping glitch was discovered in Pokemon and the guy who discovered it gave it an exotic name just because he wanted it to stand out (and succeeded imo, the glitch is a lot easier to remember with its unique name)
