The entire Conservative government, including Boris Johnson, is hopeless. Why is any of them still there?

Simple answer is, so he’d have someone to blame it all on when the public enquiry comes along. Hancock will be the scapegoat for Boris

Because Boris wants a scapegoat when the inquiry comes

Because Johnson appoints on loyalty, not competence

Because, when the official enquiry comes, Johnson needs a scapegoat.

James, I have to say you are absolutely brilliant. You should be on mainstream television interviewing these useless ministers and holding them to account.

Boris calling ANYONE "totally f'ing hopeless" is a bit rich, like all his friends😏

Instead of asking why is this government still there, start to organize protest about those issues and show that you are unhappy. Please do not just talk about it.

that's what happens when your incompetent ministers have dirt on you...boris isn't in control

It comes to something where you have to admit, well Gove is probably the most competent. What does that say about this shower?

The worst government in living memory coinciding with the worst opposition in living memory

The answer is obvious. So he can take some of the blame. Politics over lives.
Boris Johnson - “What? He’s more incompetent than me? Perfect”

Imagine Boris in power during 1940s, we'd be all speaking German.

If this statement is true and that is worzel gummidge’s opinion of Hancock then it’s far worse than we feared . This is a man who cant tell you how many kids he has .
I’m going to go for a drive to test my ears 👂

I'm getting fed up of finding out that my worse fears throughout the last year were underestimates!

The crazy thing is, if there were a general election tomorrow, you Brits would vote this lot RIGHT BACK IN! Tell me I'm wrong. You get the politician you deserve.

Johnson needs somebody to sack when the enquiry comes out. Hancocks probably has dirt on him as well

Here is you answer James: it would set a precedent for how failure should be handled and responsibility upheld…

As long as he can keep the status quo, his party will not oppose him as they know they will not be punished for their own wrong doings.

if he sacked him that automatically shows by action to the nation (even those very uneducated and voted for Brexit and the Tories) the conservative party was doing a totally useless job on the pandemic - very simple and obvious!

I'm happy with the idea of "Boris is doing his best". I just accept that his best is still a catastrofuck.
