We are justified (made right with God) by Faith alone and not by good deeds

Main Point: We need to be Justified (Made right with God- forgiven and declared righteous ) by faith in Jesus Christ
Because: 1. The Bible shows that we can’t be justified (made righteous) by doing the good deeds founds in the Bible as that just reveals how sinful we are. (Like a mirror)
2. We need faith in Jesus to be pleasing to God. We need forgiveness and Jesus’ righteousness.
For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. Romans 3:28

Application: We need to either: 1. Turn from living against God and have faith. Embrace the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Not Jesus + baptism. Not Jesus + keeping the commandments.
2. If you are justified then die to your sins and live to a righteous life. Be thankful and joyful and serve God from gratitude
Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)
