HWK Dual Sport Pants - Buyer Beware!!

Hi All, wanted to share my experience with the pants I purchased. I have been trying to get a response from HWK since August 2021 for the wear on the pants and how they are not water proof. HWK seems to be avoiding my emails and dont appear to be wanting to honor the Lifetime Warrantee on the pants they advertise. I am very disappointed with the pants that saw excessive wear after only 4 rides!

If you can recommend a good set of pants for dual sporting please comment.

I would not recommend HWK to anyone from my experience.

Thanks for you excellent tutorial. I, in fact was planning on ordering these exact pants, but they do not have them in my waist size. I contacted HWK and they responded with they were in the process of looking for a replacement pant, with no idea how long it would be. Although I ride touring style, on a Can Am Ryker 3 wheeler - whether that makes a difference or not. I'd be sitting most of the time. I was also looking at a mesh pair of pants, made by Wicked Stock, because I live in Florida and it is hot most of the time. I wasn't planning on that particular jacket because as you said it is quite warm. I was looking at more of a mesh shirt with protective armour. Once again, a very good video. You are correct when you say, "You get what you pay for." AND you represented very well.

I reckon you get what you pay for. I have the same gear. I'll upgrade when I can afford to.

Think ya got a bad batch mate. I live in BC canada. I've had my hwk pants for 5 years, ride every day, year round. Haven't had any issues or signs of wear yet.

Sounds like based on your riding I would go with MX gear.

I had similar wear at seams on the gray version after 1.5 years.

👍thanks for the warning, bit of a dodgy company by the sound of it .

For me I think for off road riding I would go with a name brand, fox, fly etc. but these would seem ok for light fire road kinda riding or street.. anyway thanks for the info.
