when he calls the dog "beauford" and the dog just sits there, "look man, I don't do requests" love the big guy!

The fact that the dog and the child didn't know each other but the dog knew that the child was in the forest alone and protected him is so cute.

when i was 3 i wondered into the neighbors corn field behind our house, i remember being scared and lost so i sat down and cried. i saw my dog Mutley running down the corn row for me. I grabbed his collar and he took me home. Ill never forget that moment or Mutley for as long as i live.

I have an Anatolian.
He protected my neighbors 4 year old from an eight foot snake.
These dogs just know how to do their jobs.

This dog needs to be recognized for saving and protecting the child.

This is the kind of news I want. Not the toddler being lost and in danger but a good dog hero story. I am in for every time.

I love the fact that the toddler saw a dog out in the wilderness and must have thought "friend"? ... And the dog must've thought the same.😂 "Fine, you can come with me kid. Keep up!"

Buford is the bestest boy. And he's just thinking "all in a night's work, what's the big deal?" Totally chill.

THIS is one of many reasons why we NEED dogs in this world. They’re AMAZING!

I was lucky enough to serve on a NATO detachment in Eastern Turkey (Erzurum) back in the '80s where we had one of these dogs as a unit mascot. Fierce, loyal, brave, intelligent and gentle all at the same time. A better companion than most humans

For those who are considering adopting a Pyrenees, they are indeed very gentle with little children.

As a toddler my family had a German Shepherd. Somehow I got out of the yard when I was 4 and walked all the way to the park about a mile away from my childhood home with him at my side at all time. I don’t how I didn’t get kidnapped or run over by someone but when they found me my dog was with me still. Miss him 😢

Whe my 2 sons were young they would stay with their grandmother during school breaks. They would always wander off into the woods to muck around. When it was time for dinner she would send out her dog Pia to "go get the boys"...and every time she would find them and bring them back in for dinner even if they were a few miles away. She was a great dog RIP❤🦮
