I don't understand why so many people - both women and men - get scammed. There's been article after article written about catfishing, yet these people send both money and nude photos to complete strangers. It's incomprehensible and my empathy for those who get scammed is starting to crumble.
Don't send photos you don't want public or money to people you've never met, is that really that hard to understand?

I never understood how you're "dating" online and never have met face to face. I met my guy on a dating site right before the pandemic started causing shutdowns. We did a Zoom call so we could see each other face to face. Exchanged numbers, and in April 2021 he made the drive from southern Illinois to Chicago. Three and half years later we're still together . To this day, I'll never send suggestive pictures. Not because I don't trust him, but he's too trusting and doesn't have a password on his phone. Turns out he went to high school with my cousin and her husband.
