Aquatica Orlando Overview

This is my overview of Aquatica Orlando in 2023 covering all slides and attractions, including Reef Plunge, Ray Rush, KareKare Curl and Ihu's Breakaway Falls.

Aquatica Orlando is family friendly water park owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment situated adjacent to the SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove parks on International Drive, and spans 59 acres themed to the south pacific, featuring a variety of water attractions, slides, wave pools, lazy rivers and encounters with marine life, and boasts a new (or revampled) attraction every year, whihc guests can enjoy on a single day ticket that ranges between 47.99 and 60 dollars (before tax).

MINI REVIEW & TIPS:

Pros:

- Cheaper single day admission compared to Volcano Bay and Disney World Water Parks
- Great deals when purchasing multi park tickets
- Doesn't require virtual queues like Volcano Bay
- New or revamped attraction every year
- The atmosphere feels a lot more laid back, mainly due to it being more of a locals park

Cons:

- Theming inferior to Volcano Bay and Disney World water park
- Expect many dining locations to be closed during off peak times.
- Outragous parking and locker charges
- Quick queue system not managed well
- Prices inside more expensive than Volcano Bay and Universal Parks
- strict food policy
- Questionable value from all day dining deal due to closures and long lines

Tips:

- arrive before park opening
save money by getting a multi park ticket
- book ticket in advance
- don't use the first lockers
- during busy summer months, use the lockers near riptide race, or the ones near Ihu's Breakaway
- bring a waterproof phone case

Awww I live in Florida in Orlando. It’s so beautiful down here but I don’t know how to drive which sucks because I am in my parents house often and don’t go to places I would love to go to only sometimes. I wish I can go to all the beautiful places in Florida and travel to places that are like paradise. It would make me so happy if I travel and go everywhere that I would enjoy to visit. Hopefully one day I do

It's a really fun water park that unfortunately many don't have time to do over a 2 week break to Orlando - it's hard fitting everything in but definitely worth visiting for half a day ❤

We went here in 2017 and it was by far our favorite Orlando water park. With that said our kids couldnt do a lot of the slides in the parks so that may have skewed our judgement. We are returning to orlando in 2024 and are very interested to see how the parks stack up this time.
