Truly a dark time for COD. Many players bought MWII because of this 2-year news, which was corroborated by numerous news outlets & reliable insiders, as well as all the credible COD leakers. But of course they changed it from being an expansion to a full new game because $$$

Does not surprise me Activision fucks over their consumers once again. Seems like this is having quite a backlash, can only hope it's strong enough for them to do something, anything with MWII. Probably not.

I only bought MW2 on the premise that it was a 2-year game. I always hated the annual cycle, thinking the games usually wouldn't be worth the time sink, and was excited about a 2-year game. I will not longer purchase any COD games, I believe I've just outgrown them at this point, or I am not their target audience.

It’s the best selling game in their franchise so far. The loss in player base is due to lack of maps, limited prestige, no resurgence, a buggy battle royale with too many changes to a good formula. It’s like they never learn. Even the improved info in the bottom left corner, with teammates plates, uav’s etc from caldera is now gone.. they never refine

I already made the decision to not get whatever they’re releasing. I understand they have the right to change their plans, but it just seems they’re holding content because they want to get us excited for the next game. That and they actually don’t have any new ideas.

I just want a bo2 remastering. Tranzit was held back by engine limitations (and being stuck in a one year cycle so not enough time to do everything) and everyone should get a chance to meet Menendez, an underrated villain and Hassan done right.

As a zombies player mainly, I’m very happy they are delaying treyarchs game. Looking at the year releases, the gap for a zombies game is always either 1 or 2 games between so this will be the first time they have had a 3 years to develop it. The more time they have to give us a good zombies game mode the better.

I think the problem started with caldera they lost a lot of players and vanguard was bad, they do not listen to what players want or need to be fixed I think if they kept verdansk and kept modifying the map and add content a lot of people would keep playing. Then they lost a big community after the nerf of snipers…. Things keep adding up…. Again this is my opinion

Honestly, I want a cod like cod mobile but their own twist. Also, having a story zombie and Easter eggs. Make camos crazy and modern. Make it fun for the people that play the game. Plus, make the movement like bo3 and modern warfare 2019.(if it’s futuristic)

We really need a new fps to combat Activision. I can't even blame them anymore they have a chokehold on that genre
