I remember as a kid my friend wore a Stryper THWTD T-shirt to school and the teacher made him change his shirt. It was a Christian school. The parents used to tell us. Not mine but other parents would tell me that wouldn’t let their kids listen to that music because rock n roll and heavy metal was music of the devil. The more someone told me not to listen to Stryper. The more I listened to their music. I told them listen to the lyrics. The lyrics is what makes the music Christian. Stryper has been my favorite band since 1985.

Oh my gosh. I remember wearing a Striper tee shirt to church when I was a kid and it was flames in the back of the shirt and my mom didn’t understand it and wouldn’t let me take my jacket off in the church 😂😂
