Finally found a channel where the person stays on point, and doesn't stray too far. Thank you much

Three years late to the party.... but of all the videos I’ve watched about the machine, this video is by far the best! Good work man.

I just purchased the unit two weeks ago and although the manual is good, your tutorial is great. You explained a lot of functions and saved me a lot of time learning the features. Thanks a lot.

I have an E2S... I bought it months ago, didnt like the limitations and bought an MPC1000 and grew to love its capabilities and features. Just when I was about to sell my E2S I started making a beat on it and realized that i wanted to keep it because i like what it DOES do... The design and build are excellent except for the one thing of the relationship between the display, the oscillator and value knob, the hand turning said knobs and the eye reading the display.... Sometimes i think the display should be on the right side but i guess left handed people will like this.

One question I have is can I in Pattern Set mode, press a series of pads and have the machine play the patterns back in that sequence?

Somehow you managed to make the only good video on YouTube about a 20 year old piece of gear. Thanks man!

This is definitely the best tutorial video I have seen for the Electribe Sampler. I have just bought a used Electribe 2 Sampler (the red one). I also have the Volca Keys, Volca Sample, a Pocket Operator PO-20 and a Yamaha SU-10 vintage sampler, besides a number of MIDI keyboards. Many thanks for such helpful advice and please keep up the good work.

Hey man thanks for the review!
I'm looking for a sampler like this where I don't need a computer when using it if I have already sampled prior or am using the sounds already built in.
The MPX8 more seems to fit the size and what I'm wanting but all I have seen are bad reviews.. do you know if there is anything more like this electribe but smaller?

I always like your reviews. Very to the point, good balance of opinion. Keep up the great work!

at 21:50 you can preview and trigger an user sample by entering "trigger" mode... You were in keyboard mode at that time.

Thanks for this awesome review/tutorial. I just got the Red version with 2.0 loaded. I was still stuck on some things so I was starting to get buyers renorse. Not anymore. Just prodeuced a banger in 20 minutes. Korg should give you a bag for this.

Question so there are already storage drums sounds in the unit? Thanks

The fact you can use this standalone is a nice selling point. Thanks for putting this on my radar.

Such a useful review and walk through! Hits all the points a musician would want to know about. Will be subscribing, great demo! Thanks!

This is by far THE BEST reviw so thanks a hundert for uploading it. I just wonder if you save a loop from Electribe Sampler onto your SD card and export it as you did in Ableton, can you edit it and manipulate it and save it on your card again and reiport it?

If I want a portable sampler that is easy to use (i have no experience at all) and not too expensive, is this the sampler i should go for? I would mostly import my own samples and (try) to some Hip Hop oriented music... I don't want it too easy as well, because i want to improve and get a better understanding of samplers and music in general. Anyway, I'm just looking for something that I can have a lot of fun with and carry around wherever I go!
