hey everyone, a little bit of a different video - focusing just on one song, with a full cut. let me know what you think :) i'm totally down for more videos just focusing on one song if the song is long enough!! thanks for watching!

This is how every guy imagines their girlfriend will react to Rush when they show them. But sadly it never goes well.

I hope you've gotten a chance to read all of the lyrics. Knowing the story really opens up the music even more.

Alex Lifeson is a master of not over doing it but rides that line.

I just grinned for 25 minutes straight watching you go though all this masterpiece. You are so into it, I remember how I felt when I first heard it.

Alex Lifeson is such an underrated guitarist. The drummer wrote almost all of the lyrics of their songs.

If you ever listen to this again I recommend watching it with the official Rush video of the studio version. It presents the story (yes, it's a story) in graphic novel style with all the words, making it much easier to follow and quite an experience.

You made an old rocker cry.
So wonderful to see a younger persons positive take on something we've been listening to and loving for 45 years! Thank you :)

Hi, it's what happen when the label's suits and ties told you to do short radio friendly songs! You do a 23 minutes song that become a classic!😉

Everything Rush did is worth taking a listen!!! Try out the song "YYZ" live in Rio, it will totally blow your mind and the band Yes is totally mind-blowing too!!! 👍👌🤣✌😁

Great reaction! I'm an old guy who has been listening to Rush since the early 80s, and I love seeing the pure joy of discovery on your face! Music affects you strongly like it does many of us... you "get it". Thanks, I have subscribed!

I'm a first timer for seeing you. There was a comment under this that said (to paraphrase), "I had a grin on my face the entire time watching your movements and reaction" . I was and still am very animated when I listen to great music acting much like you did during this. And no, it's not weird, it's awesome, it's freedom of expression. If I'm with 1 or some friends I'm the chill guy, however when I sit alone in my dusty old basement watching people cool like you and so into the music it often brings me to tears. (Anyone else ?) But they're tears of joy for your discovery and enthusiasm but also sadness because I'm 54 and don't get to do what you're doing anymore. In my teens it was a constant search to discover new music and when I did I reacted like you. Sadly there is no creative new music for the last 20 years for people to discover. By that I mean creative like the period between 1960 and 1980. That is just not gonna happen again. I thought your reaction was fabulous and it looks like you're well on your way to soundscape nirvana. Keep diggin and listen to older people regarding recommendations, we love pointing younger people into new musical avenues. Cheers from canada.

All through this video where you're not really paying attention to the lyrics, I"m sitting here to myself, "Just wait till she puts it together..."

LOVED your reaction! You picked a Mona Lisa of rock! Always have the lyrics when you listen to RUSH. Listen to your dad, he is a very smart man!

Geddy Lee has a uniquely beautiful voice, Alex Lifeson made the guitar weep, and Neil Peart spoke in drums.

a Guitarist! Makes perfect sense. Thank him for your open musical mind and quick ability to decipher songs. I was seeing these bands live when I was your age
