"It is a jobs report that confirms US economic exceptionalism," said Mohamed El-Erian, the president of Queens' College, Cambridge, and a Bloomberg Opinion columnist. The US added 303,000 jobs in March. BlackRock's Jeffrey Rosenberg also speaks on "Bloomberg Surveillance."

The jobs report will be revised down, as always.

this is what happens when the US Federal Government deficits spends by 2 trillion a year. How long can that continue?

Don't expect Mo to talk about the revision when it comes.

Wait, what about the 221, 000 that lost their jobs in March? That’s 9000 more than what was expected.Just wait until Sunday at 2am when the revised downwards numbers come out just like 12 out the last 14 months.

Hmm, “American exceptionalism”
The only thing exceptional about America is your governments “exceptional” debt.

Market Watch
Downward revisions have become a regular feature of the monthly jobs report. Data show the initial reading has been revised down for 10 of the last 12 months.
Most of the jobs added were part time.
Make a huge todo of the first numbers then the downward revisions only get a whisper.

So in short, these bastards do not care if you have to pay more everywhere or if houses are not afordable to you. They care only about the markets

What I see is another "fixed" jobs report.

The jobs aren’t for Americans. Add in the stat on jobs being filled by non-citizens and will show no net new jobs for naturally born Americans since 2018

Seen other posts that unemployment is really at 9% and growing day by day as companies layoff employees.

Yes, exceptionally high murder rates, high crime rates, high incarceration rates, low educational levels, high rates of executives walking away with million dollar bonuses while workers get fired left and right, any further questions?

A broader measure that includes discouraged workers and those holding part-time positions for economic reasons held steady at 7.3%.

The US needs to see that the inflated price of goods and services is the new normal. Getting inflation to 2% is highly impossible without breaking anything.

How about congress help to set up a banking system so that home depot and Loews contract customers can add their money to an IRA Savings account every time they make a putlrchase?

Hopefully the Fed goes to 2% before lowering, otherwise it opens door to 2% no longer being the standard.

American is exceptional - look at its location relative to any enemy, oceans provide a natural barrier. It has more natural resources than any other country (food production, oil/gas, important minerals). It could be more exceptional if it improved its education system instead of relying so heavily on attracting brain power from other countries, an improved health system that does not put so many at risk: both financial and health. Its tax system favors the rich. It could improve gun control, so domestic terrorists do not have ready access to weapons built for the battlefield, the stats on mass shootings are staggering. Which leads one to the political and justice system, while there are good politicians and many good judges there are many who are also corrupt (both Democratcs and Republicans). So, I agree, America is exceptional if you look at certain aspects but there’s plenty of room to improve.

So raise the interest rate. I will cheer for that
