So alot of you guys have been constantly asking me about how to become a Software Engineer in Pakistan by choosing degrees. The confusion is real. There is a bunch of degree offered at education level which creates alot of confusion especially with someone who has less knowledge about the IT field. In this video I tried my best to explain and clear those misconceptions.

In pakistan, There is a separation between BS SE and BS CS. BS SE graduate is a recognized PEC engineer. BS CS well is a non-engineering degree. I do not know much about CS but 80% of the syllabus is similar between them. BS SE is not bound to any programming language; however, our university did teach us some most widely used Programming languages. In my experience, Software engineering does teach you about high-level stuff. Teaches you how to design software system, different approaches, best practices, design patterns, SRS, playing with abstractions etc. While CS are just closer to hard core programming ( I mean working closely to computer/system deep programming). In the end, BS SE is on higher place than BS CS
However, Internationally, First you do BS CS and then you opt for software engineering.

BSCS focuses on computer science theory, algorithms, and programming languages.
BSSE focuses on practical aspects like software design, testing, project management, and quality assurance. They are related but have different emphases. (They are not the same degree programs. Both BSCS and BSSE are related to computer science and software development, but their focuses and objectives differ.)

Fahad Bhai, I hope you're doing well!

I need some guidance. I've just completed my matric with Computer Science and have been self-learning various languages and frameworks at home, like Python, Flask, Pyrogram, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, and many more also HTML, CSS, and currently learning JavaScript. After that, I plan to move on to React.js, Next.js, and Express.js. I've also taught myself NoSQL with MongoDB and will soon dive into SQL.

The issue is, I’m not sure what steps to take next to pursue a career as a software engineer, especially regarding admissions and which path to follow, as I don’t have anyone to guide me.

My Journey I had doned my Metric in General science but doned ICS AFTER THAT Bsc in Computer Science, DIT, CCNA IN R&S, experience of companies maintaining databases and Doing MCS right now and still need a view for this IT industry from where to start and where to end😢
