Kenny was pretty much ignored after winning silver. He deserves better. Congratulations on a great race!

Its insane, I think a lot of people noticed this. After the 100 they legit just mentioned Kerley won bronze before going to commercials, and now with the 200 they interviewed the sick bronze winner and did not interview or even talk about Kenny

So true we had a discussion about the lane assignments for athletes who qualified with Q. I was wondering if the rule had changed. It happened in the 400m men also where an athlete with a Q got lane 9. Thanks for highlighting it

That was evident with "Julien Alfred" in the womens 200m, after winning her semi final so strong and yet, had to run lane 8.

Yes Noah is talented but so are a lot of other athletes, a little HUMILITY goes a long way. NL is looking a little foolish. I don’t like him after seeing his ridiculous displays. If you’re really the best, then just win.

As an American, you can see the favoritism toward NL.

I agree totally with Kenny. This 'favourite child' syndrome hardly ends well. Noah is a work in progress and the sports media needs to stop gassing him and his ego up

Honestly, it seemed like he was trying to beat Noah moreso than anyone else. I can see why now.

Kenny spoke the truth and he still beat Lyles despite favouritism. Tebogo was the one to watch the kid is a monster and has the stamina to beat Lyles in the 200metres having broken the 300 metres world record. But everyone overlooked Tebogo by focusing on Lyles’s jive talking about his greatness and plans to usurp Usain Bolt as the best ever. If you haven’t done it since 2018 then you’re never going to do it. Tebogo is the one most likely to achieve that feat if it ever happens because like bolt he is very naturally talented, he has a running gene which means he doesn’t have to train too hard or buff himself up to run fast. It’s just a natural god-given talent and you can see it in his development which mirrors that of Usain Bolt both as a prolific youth prodigy and the way he’s gradually eased into the senior level. like bolt Tebogo made his mistakes and has now worked his way up to the top. As a very natural speedster Tebogo will be very difficult to beat in future as he develops his skills and I think he will dominate the 200 metres in a record breaking manner over the next couple of years. This is just the beginning. He is in the same league as McLoughlin and Bolt. These are people who are very naturally talented and gifted runners, they have speed written into their DNA and built into their legs. This boy already knew he had the natural ability and you could see that he had a lot left in the tank after his races. Losing your mother is the worst thing that can happen to any young man since your mother is the most likely to believe in you more than anyone else regardless of how bad you are. Your father would scold you or be disappointed or ashamed of you for losing and for making him lose the bragging rights before friends and family, but your mother would always comfort and protect you and reassure you that your time will come. She will always believe that her son is the best thing since God created Adam and believe that one day he will win. That’s how fundamental it is to building a male child’s ego into manhood, so Tebogo’s loss of his mom is significant, it could have either cost him the race or spurred him on to win it in her honour and he did the latter which is the best thing he could have done in her memory and a sign that the guy is resilient. I have seen him win and lose races and he isn’t egoistic as he knows he has the natural speed and talent to win. He won’t be unassailable and dominant like Usain Bolt but he certainly has the ability to break Bolt’s 200 metres record.

First, the incident of unfairness happens in Swimming events and now on track and fields events. Speechless

You get placed based on time. Fastest time gets the center lane. That's how it works.
