My mind is going. I can feel it. I'm afraid.
Good afternoon gentlemen. I am a HAL9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you --- HAL9000 in 2001.

That's pretty wild. The chatbot can be an educator.

I find ChatGPT quite interesting. It's often far too chatty though, and badly needs to learn to talk like a human.
More often than not it sounds like it's reciting a web page, and not attempting to have a dialogue. Still, interesting tech, looking forwards to seeing it evolve in the coming years.
Have a great christmas DJ, see you in the new year. :)

I chatted the whole day to GPT-3.5 (this is how it is referred to for some reason, when it comes to ChatGPT). I was really impressed by its capabilities. It remembers the context and facts I was giving to it, it has an endless "imagination" (content generation capabilities). I won't be surprised if it will be revealed that most of TV content was generated by those kind of AI models for last couple of years. So most of the jobs, related to text and code creation and processing are in danger of distinction.

If AI tells us to relies on the people who develop them to assure it is use for the common good, we should listen to it, right?

When you are talking about AI, there may be like 2 distinctions. One is a method of programming that somehow is able to solve problems. Another interpretation is an actual simulated personality. The two are different problems. In both cases concepts and objects have to be identified and abstracted into properties. The one that is a personality has to be based on motivations as applied to the identified objects. I guess it is possible to have a life form that is totally solution based and that is I think like the one in Total Recall 2070 the TV series. An AI that can literally solve any problem has to be a pretty intense storage/computing task.

Why not use the HAL9000 behind you instead of that creepy looking thing?

Is it lying? You should double check it. It advised me about a non-existent Emacs mode and provided examples on how to include it and configure it. For example, around 8:50, it mentions the Droid Hunter malware discovered in 2019. I couldn't find any reference to that. There is a Droid Hunter software, which is a pentesting tool. Is it possible that the AI mixed that up and the other examples?

I have heard and read a lot of what Canna [sp.] said on the internet, on videos, and in training sessions at work. All good information, to be sure.

A lot of transforming the same phrases and sentences into a template. While language learners might do so, native speakers do not quite as much. A lot of odd intonation and unnatural pauses in the recitation.

Here is the epitome of the current state of "artificial" intelligence. The AI scoured the Internet, composed logical (but meaningless) terms, and give an appearance of reality. LOL!

I can't listen to computer voices very well. Would be helpful if it talked slower and paused during every comma and period. Humans take a breath. I generally skip videos that are a computer narrator.

I wish there was a way to make it brief by default, because waiting for explanation to obvious stuff every time is a bummer. If I'm asking about about specific thing I don't need explanation what that thing is.
Second biggest issue is when its wrong, and You tell it that its wrong. It will apologize but continue spewing nonsense about the same thing.

misiekt.
