The only update i want is letting us be able to use our own ringtones/notification sounds as android has always had.

Those are all really cool features, but I have to say the "check in" feature is something I'm incredibly interested in. With family that often comes and goes, it's nice to have a feature that allows you to automatically notify family/friends when you get to your destination. Don't know how many times I've forgotten to text my parents after I got home from visiting with them.

This would be useful for my family as well, especially if they are traveling at night or over distances that aren't the norm.

The deep red color for the clock can be turned off if you dont want it to switch to that at night when it's dark. Just turn it off in settings under standby.
