Mike 'DR. Z' Zaite on the SYNERGY Z WRECK module

The SYNERGY Z WRECK preamp, in a development partnership with DR. Z, brings the magic of the Z WRECK amplifier to the popular tube modular platform. This is SYNERGY's first module with an integrated, 0-watt power amplifier, complete with a phase inverter and onboard transformer.

The Z WRECK tube amp from the legendary DR. Z is the brainchild of some of the most well-respected names in electric guitar tone: Brad Paisley, DR. Z (Mike Zaite), and the late Ken Fischer of Trainwreck.

I have been looking at Synergy since they came out a few years back. I just bought the single slot preamp with the Z wreck module. It’s amazing. I have owned and sold many other modelers, amps, etc. This one I will be keeping. Next up Soldano!

What type of phase inverter topology would this be considered as? There is no power amp section just a preamp section and a phase inverter section
