You’re right, the black fishing is becoming a marketing technique and I am not here for it

Yall when i read the "taboo" part 💀 it reminds me of when i get hit on by non asian guys and the first things they say is "asian girls are so exotic" or "i have never had an asian girl before" 💀🗿 talking as if were some exotic animal 😭😂

It's sad seeing people siding with Jesy
Leigh Anne deserves better

“So hood, so good, so taboo” So here’s a prime example of fetishization. She’s a clown, I haven’t heard the song and I have no plans of listening to it.

White girls tan, lots of races have curly hair, & inner city London is a whole culture of its own. BUT this white girl, doesn’t usually tan, doesn’t have curly hair (or if she does she never wore it natural before) & isn’t from ANY hood. & the lyrics… how it’s ALL black men in the video… man I don’t get how anyone doesn’t see it. I love bad boys too, but I like any & all races (& genders but I digress) she isn’t saying I love bad boys for like it might as well be black boys for life & I’ve seen how the younger generation hella fetishizes black men lately, this is a blatant fucking jump onto that bandwagon.

As a black woman I can personally say that this song has never once offended me sis did her thang and nickis verse was fire . And generally now that im speaking on this topic some of the most racist people ive PERSONALLY encountered is other black woman . Stop being hatefull simply because someone has a tan and wears a wig . Most women has a tan black culture is not the only tan culture in the world and on the other hand alot of other celebrities wears wigs as well, we cant move on from racism is we continue to be racist ourselfs .

If my hood ass start dressing asian and speaking broken english because i like how it looks and sounds. And hanging around Asians to holla at their men. Im probably gone get the hair beat off my head because we are the only ppl made to feel guilty for feeling a type of way for others doing it to us.

Honestly as a black person I love this song I like the vibe that she came out this song is really catchy to me. I love the outfits I love the Nicki Minaj in it I loved how everything look. now maybe she could have changed a few lyrics here and there but the whole music video I was invested I loved it all.

literally had no idea she’s not black until right now. that says a lot about her appearance and her conscious style choices.

Inspired and improvement. Idk how to put it in a way I want to but get what I mean!?? She improved and came a long way. And she's Inspired! Don't forget who helped her make the song and video as ✌

She is not Black fishing. 9O% Black do not favor her or even Nicki.
She is Mixed fishing. You know, someone mixed with Black (specifically).
9O% of Mixed (specifically mixed with Black, but not Black) women appear this way.
Now if she resembled Megan, Jayda, India Royale, Teyana Taylor, Ryan Destiny, Reginae Carter, Normani, Ari Lennox, Kirby, Tierra Whack, SZA, Summer Walker, we can have this discussion.
We recognize Black on non Black/mixed ppl but when it comes to ourselves all of sudden there’s tons of that look like Halsey, Amber Rose, Jhene Aiko, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, or Leona Lewis.
FOH.
She felt comfortable cause y’all consider women that look like her your sister any other time. You guys never separate a visitor from family.

Okay so if y’all are gonna hate on her for black appropriation than y’all need to say the same thing about Christina Aguilera and all the other singer like that too.

Most black people are getting so bitter nowadays about other race braiding hair, curling their hair, tanning their skin, being around blk folks and even fashion.. this is jealousy and almost being racist seems like you’re becoming your oppressor.. fyi tanning skin been here and a lot of other cultures braid hair.. y’all are not the only people who have brown dark skin.. and you start bashing people on social media that have natural brown skin and curly hair calling them black fishing because they’re not blk and they look good you are just being just like the white people who enslaved your Ancestors in America, you new generation is such a shame for their sufferings.
