Odd question but, apparently it seems the Pacific wasn’t the only place to employ the LVT-4, it saw limited use in Europe, the Americans specifically use them for the crossings of the Roer and Rhine Rivers in 1945, but struggling to find information about the specific units of the American army that employed them for those latter operations
