Filarmoniki Saronikou Festival

The Municipal Band was founded in 1982 by the Association of Kalyvia Choir with conductor Stelios Pritsouli.

In 1987 he became a public entity and passed under the auspices of the then Community and later the Municipality of Kalyvia.

With the implementation of Administrative Reform "Kallikratis" and no. 44/2011 City Council decision Saronic, the Municipal Band merged the "Legal Entity Social Security, Welfare, Culture and Sport Municipality Saronic".

During the period from 1994 to 1995 conductor took John Glantzis, and since 1996 the direct Spiros Kollias.

All these years (29 in total), the Municipal Band boasts wide work and valuable contribution, as it has developed significant action with appearances and performances at events and festivals, both in our country and in other cities of Greece and abroad.

Indicative of this action is to establish as an institution of Philharmonic 'Philharmonics' Festival that takes place every year in our municipality.

This Festival was given with Cooperation of the Elliniko-Argyroupoli Municipality on 8th OCT 2016.
