I’ve just spent a day looking for the battery door of my Mk111. Thank you for the reminder that it’s stored in the grip!!

Love the look and feel of the battery grip, especially coming from a 1DX markii which is a similar shape. Thanks for the review!

6:37 I found myself in a similar situation with my 1D Mark IV. With a RRS L bracket, the baseplate gives me more to hold on and makes the setup feel more balanced. As someone with relatively large hands, it's definitely something I cannot overlook. Thanks again for another great video, glad you found the grip comfortable for your use.

Thanks for sharing, I have yet to buy one for my R5, since a battery change takes only a few seconds, but I am interested in seeing how others benefit from owning one first.

As always, great content. I've been really enjoying the passion and guidance you provide in this craft. I've been looking at the battery grip for the R5, and I have been seeing some great reviews on the product. I have a quick question. I've seen elsewhere that there's a slight glitch in how the grip works regarding battery consumption. The issue reported that the grip drains one battery at a time, and the batteries have to be shuffled/switched in order to maintain peak performance with the grip. Has this been the case for you? Or how has your experience with the grip been? Thanks for your help.

I like the way you reviewed this product, simple and fast + talking less 👏🏼

Helpful so when I toss over the instructions and manual I won’t get stumped with the battery. Lol. As always informative and thank you.

Because the bottom of the battery grip is wide, it is the same with the other battery grips that use this size of battery. I have the BG-E14 and likewise when you shoot vertically it feels much bigger.

Thanks for the video. Have to say, the grip doesn't look as well integrated to the body as other grips I have seen...

No ones done an overheating test with the battery grip yet that I've seen. Hoping that helps dissipate heat for longer shooting. Let us know if you test that thanks!
