Remex RPS6122 Tape Punch: Examination and powering on

I received a Remex RPS6122 tape punch. These were mainly used on CNC machines to control them with paper tape, but could also be used as data entry for a computer.

I was Remex trained and used to fix those in the 70s :-) Hamilton Standard was a big customer and a fun place to visit.

6:08 Just add some sticky tape on it to cover the hole, that's how you delete the hole ;-)
No need for that unless you are punching from a teletype or so. Computers usually don't make mistakes, if they do it means that something is broken, maybe RAM? ;-)
