I would question Hungary’s status as a democracy. It is more akin to a former democracy in transition to authoritarianism. Suppression of an independent judiciary and of an independent media together with governmental control of external agencies limit much of the population’s access to political opinion to that which is overtly supportive of the government. Dissenting opinion exists and it may eventually be sufficient to topple Orban, but equally it may be increasingly suppressed by state sponsored censorship, incarceration of key individuals and violence.

Would you agree that European troops should help protect Ukraine's northern border so that it would free up the 100, 000's of troops needed at the front.
