As a new Generation pokemon Player, I LOVE Snorlax

But Snorlax has an attack of 110, It is rightfully praised as a special wall, But against a squishy psychic type, it can deal just as much damage back.
I honestly love snorlax, and I use One whenever I Play the Gen 3 remakes (Fire red and Leaf Green)
Heck, in that game with all things considered, Snorlax is probably one of the best users of shadow ball in that generation, If you have that, you now have a counter to all psychic and Ghost types
Crobat and Mul cam Also use the move if You need an Out (I Taught my gen 6 Weezing Flamethrower for that exact reason)

Snorlax: can learn yawn, protect, shadow ball, and body slam. And hold a leftovers. It wont just stall, it will tank at least one move before inflicting yawn, then after that it can protect from the next move and start wailing on whatever is now snoozing in front of
it.
In my fire red runs i would train an Eevee to level 36 so it would learn baton pass and then evolve it into Vaporeon so it could later learn acid armor as well. So a snorlax with ( at least) a plus 2 def baton pass with an already good sp def means it will take out at least half of any team on its own at that point.
I use body slam for the stab move with the occasional lucky paralysis on a faster opponent that has woken up, and shadow ball to take on most anything that resist normal types plus takes advantage of the gen3 mechanic of ghost types moves all dealing atk stat damage.
