Not completely without merit, but seems to put forth the idea (or at least give the impression) that it is your own fault if you have or think you have” enemies”. This rainbows and unicorns “church of nice” philosophy is of course nonsense. Enemies exist in reality. Sometimes through your own fault, but Often through no fault of your own. A quick look at your New Testament concordance will reveal clearly that Christ and you have very real enemies that hate Him and you. We are instructed to love and pray for them-not accomodate them, nor explain away or excuse their actions.
