Great opening, Loved the anime. As a VN adapted anime series it is really well made and the characters are good too. Loved the way how Hasekura showed courage to face against Erika's mother Kaya and snatched Erika from her. A little bit of cliffhanger as what will happen next will Erika manage to control her blood hunger for Hasekura as we saw she drank a little bit again from him OVA. we would never know wish it got a second season.

Story is simple. Transfer student comes to school and meets his waifu. has some comedy with vampire and a little bit romance. it had some really cute and beautiful moments of Hasekura and Erika. Specially that Erika blood sucking Hasekura scene in the festival. Though there were some question about Why Hasekura blood is special to Erika, How Erika will contain herself after drinking Hasekura's blood. maybe all these answers are in VN.

Too many good waifus. Hasekura decent mc, not dense actually, shows he loves Erika and is a good guy with courage and determination. Erika beautiful charming waifu. She also loves Hasekura and shows that. Has a little bit of tsun but thats the charm. Haruna childhood friend, charming and beautiful. she is a waifu too. Kiriha another beautiful waifu, acts cold and this is the beautiful sight of her. Shiro is like little sister and Kanade is like big sister. even though they both have feelings for Hasekura...
Hasekura loves Erika thus she is the waifu .
Iori Erika's big brother easily one of the best character considering what he did for his little sister, Best wingman...

Great OP and ED. specially the ED is so beautiful, and the OST's are so good, beautiful and soothing. have to search for them.

Watched the whole series, OVA too and i loved it. Should have gotten a second season. its been 13 years since it released and as VN adapted anime and even though its really good, having second season for VN adapted anime is rare. Really want to see more of Hasekura and Erika romance. Wish and hope for a second season someday.
