LEADERSHIP BITES: DELEGATION
A “bite-size” Leadership topic
Delegation is defined as the process of assigning or entrusting to another person, a task or a duty.
In delegation there are two roles, the giver and the receiver.
In most cases, we think that delegation is for the benefit of the giver.
But I believe as a people Leader, the art of delegation is more for the benefit of the receiver.
I believe delegation is part of building people around you, to set them up for success to grow & flourish.
I’m going to share with you from my perspective (from my 25 years of experience in being a people Leader) some simple thoughts for you to consider, that I’m sure you’ll find beneficial.
