My Hero Academia Fans are Pissed! Season 6 Was Just Ruined!?

If you’re anime only then u probably don’t have a problem. Season 6 has been phenomenal! I think the only thing they could have improved on worth noting is the sensoring of the wounds and blood on Shigaraki’s face. They could have shown more of the mid air battle and made that a bit more impactful but I think the moment itself was good enough for most of us 💁🏻‍♀️

I'm an animator myself and even if there is a sharp decrease in animation quality like everyone said there is (i thought the new episodes were amazing) we need to consider the animators in Japan. bones is working on MHA and mp100 right now and for an anime as anticipated as mha the animators were likely pressured to work hard and fast. animators in Japan are very frequently underpaid and overworked and in these work conditions it may be difficult to make super high quality animation like fans want, especially when working on such a stylized piece as mob psycho 100. the point is, if the fans want higher quality animation we should go to the source and try to get better working conditions for those animators.

We want better animation quality but don't pay any regards to the work conditions of the animators, its no secret that animators are overworked and underpaid to provide the great art we enjoy weekly. As long as the animation industry improves its labour laws publicly, I'm not saying we cant demand better quality, but I hope the outburst goes towards the right direction. I wouldn't mind waiting a year longer if the adaptations are done well and the animators can see thier families

Mappa and Ufotable have completely spoiled all the people who complain about animation not being good enough. Before Mappa and Ufotable made their mark, nobody would complain about animation being an issue. Now a lot of these guys feel entitled to have cinematic level animation at all times when they never acknowledge that it takes a lot of time, effort, labor, and capital to make said animation. These people need to chill out.

The thing is, there are plenty of shots they nail spot on with the manga, and the thing people need to remember is you can't draw animation with the same strokes and line work as the manga for every frame. It doesn't work, and they can't change things like the time of day or the setting. It's relevant to the manga, and things will hit differently in real time compared to ones vision of the mangas pacing as they read it. A panel you might have stared at and envisioned moving in one way, is different than an animators vision, and even different than my own vision. Yes anime has the factor and ability to slow down moments or change their perception, but it's also a level of interpretation of the manga. A moment frozen in time is different than a moving scene. Do I wish they would stop pulling punches on the blood and gore? Yes. Because the World Heroes Mission movie lead me to believe they were preparing us for the War. It'll be bloodier, and more brutal. These kids will see hell and bleed for their cause. But there's been such a lack of impact to the brutality of the struggle at times. That alone, would help the scenes a lot. Other than that aspect, I'm fine and enjoying the season.

Yall, just because an episode doesn't have the god tier animation yall were hoping for, it doesn't mean the entire episode is ruined, let alone the entire SEASON.
Anime onlys enjoyed it, sure maybe we manga readers expected better animation, but it wasn't downright horrible. It was mediocre at worst. There were smooth moments and yall didn't even realize that bones animated the individual state smashes from deku and the stills were trying to be as faithful to the manga art as possible. As last I checked, there were only like 3 stills, and yall call it a PowerPoint presentation like mirios fight.

They still did a good job so far this season. But I do feel like bones is prioritizing mob psycho this season especially after episode 6 and 7 of mob. Also Yukata Nakamura was nabbed for mob. Hopefully he’ll have a scene for mha this season.

I sure do hope that everyone affected by the animation quality makes a full recovery. It would be a shame if any one was so butt hurt that it changed their lives permanently. I'm just grateful that me and my family seem to be immune and are still enjoying the show.

So just because this one episode wasn't as good the entire season is ruined? Was anyone even watching every other episode in season 6? Idc what people say, this season has been amazing so far! Everyone's been praising the show since it came back, now it's ruined? I admit this episode could've been better of course, but let's at least wait for the season to end before we start judging it as a whole

season 6 is the best season the anime has to offer. Its impossible for bones to replicate Hori's work, he's just different

I just think the MHA community was spoiled with the quality we got out of seasons 1-3. One of the greatest moments in the show imo, is deku vs. muscular. The way the ep ends on the full panel of deku screaming out in pain and victory is just absolute perfection 😮‍💨
