The Olathian condor is one of my favorite fights from SOTWS if only because it's a change of pace from the usual enemies you face. It's just an ordinary vulture rather than a human or a joy mutant. It's such a great choice for a wild animal to fight too because real-life condors are _huge._ I didn't realize prior to playing the game that their wingspans can get to be almost 12 feet long. They're also strong as hell and will go straight for the kill rather rather than waiting for carrion to turn up if they're _really_ hungry. I've read that they'll claw animals to death or pick them up and drop them from high up. I'm glad I don't live in a part of the world where we have these things because I would hate to tussle with one.

this whole area is a really neat addition. i almost miss there was more going on with it, but at the same time i do love the simplicity of the area. and the condor, complete with this banger track, is a great way to end off an otherwise lore-heavy area without saying a word.

The flash brought primitive life back to the world, so it would make sense that the animals would eventually adapt accordingly. Bigass condor, thing could probably lift Alex them off the ground and drop them a great height.

I’d say the condor is a above average olathian condor at best, 10/10 soundtrack though.
