Nice! I think you're the first person to replicate my use of titanium as a getter material, at least in a homemade tube. I'm glad it worked out for you. The double pinch seal is an interesting trade-off; more complicated glasswork, but no need for an alignment jig for the feedthroughs. Reminds me of an early Audion. Well done.

You should try to make it into a regenerative receiver. Those designs actually prefer lower gain tubes.

I always wanted an old style Audion, but they cost nearly an arm and a leg. Making my own version suddenly has become a viable option after watching your videos.

pretty cool, making vacuum tubes is kinda an holy grail of electronics, i can't even manage to find decent glass and a decent torch to make a gas discharge tube, i think i'll give up the idea
