I guess Paiste Signature series good in mix with the other instruments, not exactly in soloing, it's more important for the reason to choose those cymbals. They are musical and also cutting through. And yes, drums in this video sound like a boxes...=)

Watching the Mapex toms in this video shake made me want to scream... not in the good way... such as one might experience in the throes of passion. No: The shaking of the Mapex toms in this video made me want to scream in the BAD way... the way in which might scream at something that is truly and irrevocably WRONG in an extreme way -- THAT is the way it made me want to scream. I would also like to submit that I was recently disappointed by the much hyped Popeye's chicken sandwich, which, upon trying said sandwich, failed to deliver on the promise of its alleged quality and tastiness. This, however, did not make me want to scream in the manner that the shaking of the Mapex toms in this video made me want to scream. The shaking of the Mapex toms in this video was rather like what one would expect watching someone try to play a demo as Godzilla walked through the studio, which is to say, rather seismic and extreme - hence the intensity of my reaction. I should point out that, while the shaking of the Mapex toms in this video made me want to scream, I did not, in fact, actually scream. Rather, I simply experienced a desire to scream, along with a rapid flood of other emotions (indignation, disappointment, curiosity, and finally anger at the drummer who seemed so tolerant of what I deemed to be an entirely intolerable amount of shaking from the Mapex toms in this video).

Paiste signatures have to be the best sounding cymbals I've ever heard. Shame this video had such a shitty set. I mean, C'mon, I know mapex isn't known for awesome sound but that is ridiculous. Kick drum sounds like they shoved an entire King size comforter inside, Snare sounds like they took it out of the box and took all of 2 minutes to tune the top head.

A better drum set would compliment those cymbals much better. Snare and bass sound awful
