maria browning is an INCREDIBLE instructor! she is SO awesome, and i was so glad i had the opportunity to train with her at convention this year! i have taught aqua aerobics at the ymca for a while, and have been a competition swimmer for many years. this is an excellent workout!

It's amazing! If you have problems with your joints, laps, and especialy is case of avoirdupois (really big), aqua zumba is the best way for you!

I'm finally going back to the gym, primarily for the swimming, and saw that my local one has an Aqua Zumba class MWF 5pm. So I was curious and thought that since it's in the water, it might be safe for me to do it. I'd injure myself in regular Zumba right now, judging from how many times and ways I've injured myself doing very simple things. Intensive chemotherapy did far more damage and changed my body in ways I'm still discovering, twelve years later. I love to swim and dance, so what the heck. I've learned the hard way that I have to start as if I've never exercised in my life, which still feels weird, because I used to be strong and fit, and my brain still thinks I am while my body knows better.

@zumbamommy1 well said i love zumba but as a proffessional instructor of over 20 years and former rsa course director and national presenter, i wish zumba would put a pre requisite on the instructor program, although i feel it is now to late, all thy are doing is diluting there product.

I do this at the YMCA in Ashland ky its so fun for all age I love music try it you be hook makes you happy knowing your getting in fit an having so much fun
