Passive 3D Settings and Modes Review - LG WebOs led Tv 2020 - 42LB6700 - Using Real D Glass - India

Показать описание
This tv supports only Passive 3D Glasses. It uses FPR for operation and provides view point control and depth conrol along with 5 different modes (Only for 2D TO 3D).

Cross talks are too limited and experienced only once. So far i have watched 31 movies in 3D. I will surely recommend this tv for 3D Viewing or gaming etc.. I will not recommend 2D TO 3D option not bcoz it's under performing but it's actually not worth since it reduces the life of the tv by continuously making the tv to work at full backlight.

Crosstalks if found could be elimintaed easily using available depth control and viewpoint adjustments. No pairing is required and glasses doesn't require any sort of powering. Glasses supplied are plastic and 4 in number.

I went for passive 3D mainly bcoz of the pros of it over active 3D. Active glasses require powering it up using battery and pairing it with Tv and most important it goes completely opaque when rotated more than 90 degree and starts to fade above 45 degree. I used to watch films in couch and for me a normally working glass at all angles was very important.

Overall i like this feature very much. So I'm giving it 9 / 10.

For more information regarding this model please do check out other videos in my channel. Hope this helps someone looking to buy a new Tv. Feel free to ask any questions or doubts. I will try to answer from my limited knowledge and experience. Happy to contribute to the YouTube community. Cheers !!:)

This is a question by Mr. Vinoth Vel in the discussion area which i think might be relevant to others too. So sharing it here.

-- --QUESTION----
hi... thanks for ur video... nice upload :)... some people says there is a limitation in vertical viewing angle... tv should be placed as per our eye level like that... is it true? if true means give any suggestion... & what about 3d effect ? 3d effect in the sense not in depth.. like pictures come out of the screen... (ex) In transformers 4 movie, u can see the title came out of the screen very much (in theatre)... In tv?

For any 3D Tv the basic rule is that the tv should be mounted/Placed at the eye level for optimal viewing and to reduce health problems like eye strain. If this eye level is maintained i can assure you that no crosstalks or limitations are observed. Since this tv uses FPR for 3D, the only limitation you would be facing is limited horizontal resolution. But this is never evident for a normal human eye.

But what you said makes perfect sense for active 3d since when rotated it's glass will start to dim at 45 degree and becomes fully opaque at 90 degree. Means no visibility above 90 degree which is a limitation.

The 3D 'effect' you mentioned is there but cannot be compared to the one available in a theater. The reason is simple, there actually two projectors are available and thereby creates two images of varying depth which inside a theater makes ample effect to those sitting at a position till the middle row. But tv uses polarized glasses which allow the left and right images to be seen by the left and right eyes separately.

Hello. For what type of glasses is that horizontal double picture at 1:42. How do you watch that? Another question: When I want to download a 3D movie, what format should I search for. I tried to download two movies, and they were both double picture like at 1:42. I don't get that, how do you watch that? Next week will have my LG 42LB650v model. I can hardly wait. :) Looking forward for your answers, thanx.
