Was struggling to remember how the spring was assembled and this was one of the only vids that had a clear shot of how the spring was loaded in. Was able to pop it back into place properly.

This is the way a video showing a simple thing should be. I did have a slight issue when I twisted the inner key a little too hard and everything came apart. Took a little more time to get the buttons lined up inside. But pausing the video showed me the proper alignment/orientation. FYI bottom of the fob is where the inner key gets inserted.

I have 2 toyota vehicle with this key fob type, which means I have 4 fobs. When i replaced the batteries, each one had the small spring and the push tab to release key come popping out. Your vid helped me figure out how to reassemble these 2 pieces. thx

Thanks! I saved a ton of $$ doing this. I did have a little trouble getting the battery all the way in; the remote very kindly flashed so I knew something wasn’t right so took it out and put it in again. Kind of hard to get in right but it worked fine then.
