Astrology Forecast for October 2024

An in-depth exploration of the astrology forecast for October 2024, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock.

The major highlight of the month is the solar eclipse that happens in the signs of Libra on October 2, which is the last in a series of eclipses in that sign that began one year ago.

The middle of the month features a lot of tense aspects between Mars and the inner planets, which the benefic planets Venus and Jupiter are attempting to offset with helpful configurations.

By late in the month the Mars-Pluto opposition begins to loom large, and we start to get sense for what that tough aspect will look like over the next several months, since Mars will station retrograde and oppose Pluto three times.

Resident of Western VA, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I think it’s hard for those not here in person to comprehend the sheer devastation that has taken place. Entire communities have been wiped from the face of the earth, there is virtually no cell or internet connection so individuals are cut off from needed aide and rescue. Luckily, surrounding states have stepped up within the past few days to mobilize our National Guard and FEMA to help rescue and restore these communities.
While we knew a storm was coming, a flood of this magnitude wasn’t just unprecedented, it is biblical. The amount of rainfall, coupled with our area already being saturated, caused massive dam failures and waterway breach, leading to fast flooding where people could not get out in time. This is an apocalyptic situation and I ask everyone who sees this to please keep these individuals in your thoughts and prayers, please send whatever resources you can, any little bit helps. 😢

Thank you Chris and Austin! You guys are the highlight of the month for me. Also, on October 1, three new world leaders took office. The first woman president of Mexico, a new prime minister of Japan, and a new prime minister of France. I also really enjoy the retrospective look at the previous month. It's astonishing how the astrology aligns with events.

There are 2 distinct forces in religions. One is genuinely spiritual in nature and deals in treating others and ourselves with love and compassion, knowing our souls the eternal aspect of self. The other divergent quality, simular to political systems, is controlling people for power and personal gain. I and many others have come to see astrology as a way of understanding universal patterns and ourselves in a strategic and loving way. Overall it helps in recognizing the oneness of all aspects of existence. It is extremely important that we do not allow our lives to be dominated by those who wish to use us. I hope that we all who care about what is the spirit inherent within ourselves and where we could create a more just and evolving world will vote accordingly.

This eclipse is in my 3rd house. My sister died (not unexpectedly) on Sept. 12. Looking it up after you mentioned that kind of thing, I found she was born 3 days before an annular eclipse. She was in a 6th House profection year, as were our brother and our mother when they passed. Although my sibs were a little bit young for that threshold. I edited this to come back and add that this eclipse was in my sister's 12th whole sign house. It gives me a shiver to realize that her 6th House is Aries, which is her Sun sign. Omg I'm shivering all over now

This is sort of small time news compared to a global scale, but there was a chemical fire in GA caused by a malfunctioning sprinkler system and now there’s an air quality warning in the area surrounding the plant around 90, 000 people I think are taking shelter away from the smoke and air. This happened yesterday!
