What a great Church and Churchyard, there is much history to see within its boundaries, and a little attention to detail 🤣✌

That crude gargoyle carving on the Bronze Age site is a testament to ancient craftsmanship. Amazing find! 👏

Gosh it's hard to believe the tree produces so much foliage from that hollow shell!

Wow this place has everything 🤗 Beautiful yew tree and amazing tombstone’s. I love medieval knight’s tombstones, they used to say that the cross legged pose used to imply that the knight had served in the Crusades or even been a Knight’s Templar….I bet they can tell some tales… 😉 Curious gargoyles.. fascinating 😮 ❤ Brilliant video thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it ❤

Thank you for this fascinating insight into one of my favourite places. As you know from our previous conversations, I visit St Mary's quite often, more so the Yew that sits proudly in the graveyard. In fact had you filmed this a few weeks later, you would have seen two offering stones I left with the others. Honouring the Yew and the ancestors that predate the church. I'm glad you mentioned a Bronze Age burial mound. That's something I suspected was there before any Christian site rose up. Also loved the carving of the "Gentleman's region" LOL. Missed that, and I'll defiantly be on the look out on my next visit.

Thank you again for this tour.

Blessed Be
