Olaf's Rework has been confirmed for 2022 in League of Legends. Riot announced that they are going to be working on changes for Olaf's kit soon!

I really hope they make him better. I hate getting an Olaf on my team. Type of champ that will get a lot of kills because of how strong he is early, but he falls off so drastically after the 25min mark that he punishes his own team for taking all the gold on him and being unable to hard carry. And let's be honest, games have become way longer this season from experience. Not sure if it's the TP changes that caused this, but my games have been in average going longer than 25 minutes.

I like the concept of a berserker viking, but they could do so much more than the 2 clicks for stats abilities, 1 point and click true damage attack. His axe is fine I guess? His passive is also fine. He needs a Pantheon type of rework imo.

I really hope they keep his ult, or at least the unstoppable part of his ult. The entire point of playing Olaf is to not give a fuck and charge in with his R. Makes you feel like a real berserker.

He needs a change. He has a very low winrate in jgl and his playrate in other roles is nonexistent. His design doesn't fit the berserker theme going on apart of his passive imo. There's no need to play Olaf when Trundle exists - a champion that fullfills the role of rushing down enemies just as good as Olaf, but Trundle also gets a lot of free stats from Q and ult. Olaf just struggles, even though he is fun to play imo

In my opinion there need to be some more visual updates. Olaf included, i would love to see what i saw in The Call music video in game but... I look at his art now and...

I think his E should be like zac's but without the knock up. The charge time would be smaller. The max range of the dash would be roughly the same as his q (~1000) and the aoe radius would increase with charge time. Like this he can be like a berserker who jumps into combat and do some cool combo with Q and E.


Or juste scale the cast time of his Q and E with atk speed so he doens't feel clunky anymore. I'm fine either way.

I always thought that him having 2 skills that's just a passive buff ability is odd. Which makes him hella wonky to play.

Hopefully they make a better mobility skill for him. I think Olaf is decent, but compare him to Tryn which has an immortality AND almost unli dashes, he's bound to have disadvantages from the get-go

As a former Olaf main, I’m scared of what riot is going to do. The champ is fine as he is in terms of power, it’s just that his power is “boring” and somewhat difficult to utilize. I hope they don’t remove his clear mechanics and low hp baiting just to make him more approachable for bad players, because that’s the only reason why you would rework him right now. No Olaf player actually wants this.

I actually hope they kinda bring back his on hit builds, not that I don't like throwing axes at enemies but I prefer dueling with olaf and getting into the thick of things.

Something about Olaf feels rather odd he's supposed to be a self sustaining juggernaut kind of champion but his kit doesn't make it so, he's more like a self sustaining glass cannon he just dies too easily and loses the passive on his ult upon activation, since it is old and was made for long term fights back then but now most things can kill you in under a few moments just kills him sure he was viable on the goredrinker before but it got nerfed to the point he's become irrelevant

One of Olaf’s biggest problems it that he’s either really strong or really weak. During the start of season 11 when Goredrinker and Chemtank were at their strongest Olaf became of of the best jungles in the game. When he and his items got nerfed he became irrelevant again.
