SeaScope 42 - Friendly Monk

Monk seals were once hunted for their fur, so they are usually shy. But off of Hawaii, one monk seal loves to swim with people and nobody knows why. Was he in a zoo? Was he somebody’s pet? Now the seal has returned to his own wild world but the mystery lingers.

SeaScope is a fun, educational video series created by Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society. SeaScope has 52 different videos about the ocean and an additional 52 Question and Answer videos that can be used to test kid's understanding of the information provided.
