This excellent performance deserved more than that lightweight crowds attention. P P Arnold was 71 years old then, effortlessly delivering a stunning display of her ageless vocal talent. My mum was busy raising bread at that age, never mind her voice!

Tin Soldier has to be the best rock song of the 60s and probably of the 20th century.

PP her first cut of the Cat Stephens song..
"The First Cut Is The Deepest"....back in the 60's, be it as a solo singer or as the backing vocalist, of choice, by so many of the legendary bands & artists, she has continued to both enchant & rock us, not only over the decades but still, with that incredible voice & stage presence.

Like the inimitable Tina Turner,
PP still remains one classy & dare I say Sexyist female singers of the century.
Keep rockin in the free world girl.!!!

You can certainly hear PP Arnold's beautiful voice that clearly added so much to Steve Marriott's version of this amazing song. She still has it and it can only be said it is essential to this songs initial success with Steve Marriot and indeed this version as well. Amazing. Cheers John(Australia)
