Sure! I love exchanging opinions with fellow mua's. I dont have access to the Face and Body foundation nor water-based airbrush as of the moment but if you do, maybe you can do the same experiment so we can also test both formulations. Thanks for buying our products! And yes I do have the Mat Velvet but I find myself reaching still for the Colorstay over the Mat Velvet. I'm looking to try HD next time. Thanks for watching!

Googled the ingredients for Colorstay Combination/Oily formula and it contains Trimethylsiloxysilicate which apparently is a form of silicon but it also contains some water in it. Cant say which one has more in them but I hope that gives a better light in the formulation of the liquid foundation

I wouldnt agree on the part where you say Colorstay is a long shot from the airbrush foundation because it is a full coverage liquid foundation plus it contains some traces of silicone in it but for science's sake I'll try to replicate this experiment once I get my hands on the Face and Body Foundation from MUFE.

Nice topic although not completely accurate as the foundations used are not really the same in terms of performance and formulation. Silicon-based airbrush foundations indeed last longer and are more lightweight but it could have been better if the traditional foundation used has the same qualities. I must say Revlon Colorstay offers medium-full coverage with matte finish and this should have been compared to a water-based airbrush foundation.

Sorry but I'm really not an airbrush user so I dont have any other foundation to compare the glambox one with. I'm not too sure how water-based would fare in our climate but if I had to choose between the two I'd definitely go with silicon just to be on the safe side re staying power

I know it's hard to discuss this as it is a very complicated subject :) Anyway, I'm not trying to debunk your topic but rather would just like to see a better comparison. Perhaps MUFE Face and Body comes close to silicon-based airbrushed foundie in terms of being waterproof and transfer-proof. I also love Colorstay for everyday use but comparing it to airbrush foundie seems really a long shot. Airbrush is amazing esp. for photo/video shoot and of course weddings but cleaning up is tedious =P

Exciting! I'll stay posted for that as well. Always a first time for everything. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it in no time! :)

500 chars. makes it difficult to explain thoroughly =P but I think the main thing abt Colostay is that it dries matte whereas silicon-based airbrush foundie gives a dewy finish... I actually have a dilemma as I'm torn between silicon and water-based airbrush foundie, noticed u r using Glambox. How do u find this airbrush system? Can you do a review on it esp. the foundation? Thank you :)

The speakers in my laptop are very weak. I was not aware that it came out as loud on other speakers. I'll try to double check it on other laptops next time to avoid this in the future.

Colorstay is my go-to foundie dat I dint bother 2 check if its actually water or silicon-based coz it stays on d skin perfectly fine in my xperience hehe. My purpose in usin d silicon primer was 2 more or les achieve d same kind of formulation w/ d airbrush foundie. Come 2 think of it cant recall off d top of my head any liquid foundies dat are silicon-based?(or not directly written on d front of bottle anyway!) probably d HD-packaged products?haha il giv it another go once i hav my hands on 1!

I'm still thinking about doing videos here in YouTube but I think I'll need to gather some more confidence to face the camera hahaha =P Mat Velvet+ holds up really well with my extremely oily skin even if I've sweated like a pig it didn't budge but it is too expensive for daily use hahaha I'm waiting for the new Colorstay whipped foundation at the moment 'coz I've read a lot of good reviews. MUFE HD takes some time of getting used to but it is also a good foundation :)
