My husband played the role of Peter, our daughter and I were apart of the singers and our younger children were also involved in the production. Our Pastor was Rick Seaward an awesome Pastor who my children and I will always remember, as for my husband he went home to be with the Lord. Those were great days and that was an honour to be apart of. I love you Lord, thank you

❤ The Witness musical will always hold a very special place in my heart. Back in 1976 or 77... can't remember which Easter....the youth of my church gave this presentation and I was chosen to sing "I Love You Lord" as a solo. I can still remember almost word for word many of the songs.

I cannot thank Jimmy and Carol Owens enough for their gift of this amazing cantata, truly wonderful beyond poetry. I was fortunate to be involved in this musical for a total of 30 years off and on, each time more memorable than the last, and I have my Father, Siaosi, God rest his soul, to thank for making me sing in the Witness when I initially didnt want to, having never heard of it before, but after being involved in the musical, I can honestly say, it changed my life. The Witness helped me to refocus on the most important things in life, God, Family and Faith in our one and only true saviour Jesus Christ. This musical touches you in ways, you cannot even begin to imagine or understand, and my advice to you is to just soak it all in, dont even try to understand it, just surrender to its power and know in your heart that God is real, Our saviour Jesus Christ is coming soon and absolute Grace exists, you're feeling it...God bless you Jimmy and Carol Owens. I still have my sheet music from The Witness when my youth group performed it in 1999, and this is the song I remember most from the musical. The "So if you find it in your heart" section was too high for the guy playing Peter, so he spoke the lyrics with the music behind him. It was still really powerful; even more so because I think because at some time we have all said (or prayed) these exact lyrics--everyone can relate to Peter in this moment. Such a wonderful song.
