All three too pricey for how far out of town they are. I'm 15 minutes from town and the airport in a very green gated village rent is lot less than this for comparable houses.

That house would cost at least about 300, 000 USD if I had to guess. The price of the homes in Thailand vs the rent prices don't make sense to me and certainly don't follow the general rent to mortgage ratio is in the US. Any ideas why?

I think they are priced a little high. Very nice, new and clean but just something is off about the space and such. First house would be great if it was the only house. Two big homes squeezed in like that is aweful. 450 a month usd would be reasonable for the first place.

I actually rented it the day after we met there. When Alice mentioned the 2nd house on property I wasn’t too sure at first, but it turns out it’s the owners house, she lives in Australia and spends 4 to 5 days a year there. So it’s basically empty all the time with the exception of her daughter who stops by a few days a week to look after it and is as nice as nice can be.

Have to laugh at all the ones saying these are too pricey. In Hawaii the cheapest one would probably rent for $3K a month, unfurnished.

Safety factors don’t seem to be much of an issue, like to see at least two exits for fire escape or other (yes, not much flammable construction, but)..interesting design concepts except for the all-wet hong nams..and…would be suitable for someone..mine is 2-story, 3br, 2bath for 12k baht in a secure village 😱
