Thanks for the walkabout Generi, really enjoyed it and some very cool things you found along the way. It's nice to see a FTB episode thats less technical more traveling. :)

The rubberwood that makes 8 sticks can be put in a sawmill to make 3 sticky resin and 4 jungle wood planks. Hope it helps!

I love exploring in Minecraft and the extra biomes and jetpacks really add to the experience.

I use ender pouch like that. I have a filter pumping out the items from the ender chest with pneumatic tubes to barrells and backup silver chests for excess. I also use restriction tubes to prioritize where it pumps first. I love the ender storage mod. I never worry about full inventory anymore.

Breaking the totems is probably the right thing to do. They'll be used for certain thaumic procedures, wherein you'll need to build a cluster of them.

30' years from now... we will look back and feel such nostalgia towards minecraft... the game that changed gaming forever.

generikb the obsidian totem you encountered was part of the latest thaumcraft update and it gives you the ability to move the aura nodes (the glowing balls of lightning that produce wisps) when used in conjunction with some fancy crystals

It's okay to grab the obsidian totems, usually there's an aura node near them. Also you can craft the obsidian tiles so you don't have to collect those.

The feed the beast is my favorite of all of your series by far

the obsidian totems from thaumcraft mark some aura nodes and the spot with multiple totems and the chest has a large dark node which has a lot of flux and thus produces a lot of wisps

you can use them later in thaumcraft to move aura nodes

Thank you for continuing this in an episode! I was sad to see the stream cut short when you had technical difficulties.

Generikb, silverwood trees create an aura node, if you plant multiple within a small area they combine, it causes some flux at first but after the flux is gone you have alot of vis in that node

the totems are used in aura manipulation
also use rayes mini map to set waypoints

21:25 P-Body's portal gun - you can also get Atlas' portal gun, pork chop portal gun and potato portal gun as well as the normal one

The totems usually just mark the location of an aura node - it's fine to tear 'em down, and in fact you need 'em to build an advanced Thaumcraft item.
