I own both phones. My 8 plus is my main and my 7 plus is my 2nd. My 8plus is way faster than my 7 plus. The battery lasts twice as long as well. The 7 plus was good for a long time but it just can’t keep up anymore and is no longer supported. The 7 plus was a huge leap for apple when it came out almost 7 years ago. First phone to have duel cameras and portrait mode.
